Cowboy Bill's
Ahhh... what once was...
Used to love this place. Yeeeeeears ago we stumbled across a hole in the wall bar w/ country music and bales of hay to sit on (and not much else) - the Eastern European cowgirl bartender let me buy one of the painted driftwood signs (and handed me a screwdriver to pry it off the wall.) My name is Bill, so it made a good souvenir.
Came back a year later - and the place had grown. Multiple bars, a big outdoor area with a dance floor & a mechanical bull. Bar stools that look like saddles. They expanded to a 2nd location (Cowboy Bill's RELOADED) and added a Mexican restaurant. But either the business didn't support the growth, or their heart just wasn't in it. Sections got sold off, Reloaded closed - they re-branded as a rum bar for a bit. No idea if ownership changed - but the fun isn't quite there anymore. Now they've even added an "adult entertainment area" in the back - Diamonds & Spurs. Extra points for a good name I guess?
Stop in for a drink special or a band if it sounds good - but don't make any special trips. We'll always have the memories...
